Dr.Inder Kaul., MD, MPH, currently is the President and CMO at Asahi Kasei. Once a practicing clinician, Dr Kaul has been associated with Clinical Research for over two decades and has worked with Oscient Pharmaceuticals, Searle, BoehringerIngelheim and Parexel in the product development programs of drugs, biologics and medical devices.

Dr Kaul's extensive clinical and regulatory experience has seen him directing scores of clinical trials (Phase I-IV) across several therapeutic areas with concentration in the infectious diseases, immunology, cardiovascular, rheumatology and metabolic diseases. He has been credited with development of four commercial products (PROGRAF, VIRAMUNE, VIDEX and FACTIVE®) and several investigational agents predominant amongst them being Ramoplanin and human thrombomodulin ART-123.

Dr. Kaul holds a M.D. in Anesthesiology and a M.P.H. in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from Harvard School of Public Health
