Dr.Sanjay Gupta joined Asiatic Clinical Research as COO in September 2010. Sanjay is head of clinical operations and a partner in Asiatic. He has over 18 years of scientific and strategic contributions to drug discovery and development, including cross-functional experience with domestic and multinational Pharma & CRO industry.
Sanjay began his career as Registrar at Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai in 1993, where he was a co-investigator for two Global US IND neurology clinical trials. He continued as a medical advisor in various domestic and multinational firms like Biocon Ltd, Organon India for medico-marketing activities and clinical research.

He has won accolades in product positioning and clinical research alike in almost all therapy areas like Diabetes, cardiovascular segment, oncology, infectious diseases, neurosciences, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, respiratory, orthopaedics etc. During the stint in CRO space, he has worked with Quintiles and Siro Clinpharm as a part of middle/senior management. Among plethora of activities, he has successfully created proposals for large pharma and biotech firms and converted them through bid-defense; he has been hands-on and supervised about 110 protocol feasibility, reviewed and opined on about 150 Global study protocols in various disease and device segments.
In various capacities with industry giants like Johnson & Johnson, and CROs Sanjay has led operations from the front, increased resource utilization and productivity. As a technical and management person, he has given his personal best to Global Protocol evaluation and project management in phase I-IV with end to end services for about 60 Global Clinical Trial Programs.
Dr.Sanjay Gupta graduated from University of Mysore and is an MD (DNB) in Internal medicine from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. In addition to his MD, he has completed a one year classroom certificate course in senior management from one of India’s prestigious institutes - Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. |

He is the founder and one of the principal investors of Asiatic. Prior to this, he was a co-founder of FAST Inc. NY. Bindhu worked as CEO of FAST from 1993 to 1999 and achieved revenue of 20 million USD. Previously, he had worked at IBM in Rochester, MN. |

Ms. Mithra Bindhu is the Executive Director of Asiatic Clinical Research is based in Atlanta GA. She is a marketing professional, with a highly successful track record in the International Markets. She is the founder and one of the principal investors in Asiatic. Prior to Asiatic, she was a co-founder of FAST Inc. NY. Mithra worked as Head of Sales from 1993 to 1999 and played a key role in FAST reaching revenues of 20 million USD. Previously, she had worked at the IBM labs in Rochester MN. |
